Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share my Bright White and Gold Christmas Decor in my Living Room today. This space is where we spend most of our time. It is open to the kitchen and breakfast nook so I wanted to keep all of those spaces cohesive.
I decided to use a lot of white with pops of gold in my holiday decor this year. I love how the white brightens up the space so much and the gold accents are so chic and elegant. I’m really happy with how it all turned out.

The Christmas Tree
My Christmas Tree in the living room is from King of Christmas. It is a 15-foot King Flock with 2000 LED lights and is the most beautiful tree I’ve ever laid eyes on. It is so realistic and I just love the flocking. I am very impressed with the quality of this Christmas Tree. King of Christmas was so kind to offer you a 10% off coupon code on your own King of Christmas tree (or anything on their site).

To go with the Bright White and Gold holiday theme, I used all gold and white ornaments and fillers on my Christmas Tree. I love the look in this space. Since I used so many glittery ornaments, picks, and ribbon, the Christmas Tree just sparkles. It looks so magical and majestic. I found most of the decorations for the tree at Hobby Lobby and Michaels, and some were collected throughout the years.
Trimming the Tree
On this tree, I used a few different things as filler to make the it look more full. First I tucked fur garland within the branches which helps give the tree a snowy look and fills in some of the gaps within the Christmas Tree.
Floral Tree Picks
Next, I used two different styles of flower stems and tucked them all around the tree. The stems I chose were poinsettias. One was white with gold glitter trim and the other was a sparkly solid gold glitter poinsettia.

Decorative Picks and Sprays
Once the flowers were placed, I added 4 different types of tree picks. I used gold eucalyptus stems, white glitter cedar branches, gold glitter cedar branches, and gold glitter urchin picks.
Ornaments
I started adding the ornaments next. The ornaments I used are all shades of white and gold, glittered, textured and solids. I love the large pinecones! The gold tassels and gold glittered crowns are my favorites. The larger ornaments were placed on the bottom half of the tree. As the Christmas Tree gets narrower at the top, I start adding the smaller ornaments.

Ribbon
To finish off the Christmas Tree, three different styles of ribbon were used. A white ribbon with intricate lace detailing was layered throughout the tree. Sadly I can’t find a link, but I found the ribbon in the wedding section at Hobby Lobby. Then I used a linen ribbon with gold glitter snowflakes and triple tucked it into the branches. Finally, I finished the tree with gold glitter and beaded curly ribbon garland and draped it down the tree to add dimension.

The Gift Wrap

I love to add gift boxes and bags under the Christmas Tree for a full look all season long. I found most of the gift wrap from Target and stuck to the gold and white theme. These are mostly empty at the moment, but as gifts start coming in I fill the boxes and bags. Since the gifts placed inside the boxes are mostly for family, I am able to keep the boxes and use them year after year. If I decide on a new color scheme, I can always add a different color ribbon.
I found some gorgeous gold and white wrapping paper to wrap the gifts that are too big for boxes and bags. I also plan to use the most adorable gold and white fur trimmed Santa Sacks for some of the gifts as well.

Console Table
The console table is another focal point in the living room. I love switching up the decor for the holidays. The large white lamps and the mirror are the mainstays to the table. For Christmas, I added some white glass trees and pretty votive candle holders as well as pine scented candles in a glass cloche.

As the centerpiece, I used the same cream colored faux hydrangeas and gold footed planter as I did for fall. The only additions to make it more seasonal were a bit of green cedar stems and some gold berry stems. It changed the whole look without breaking the bank.

Under the console table, I placed gold mercury glass candle sticks and layered in some gold mercury glass trees. The gold glitter crown ornaments on top of the candlesticks are too cute and dress the white candles up a bit.

Fireplace Mantle Decor

The Garland
The fireplace mantel is dressed in a gorgeous flocked pine garland. Four strands of garland were tied together to create a fuller look. A tutorial showing how I did this is saved in my highlights on my Instagram page.
I added some gold poinsettias and white ornaments to the garland after I hung it and love how it turned out. The garland is strung on the front of the mantel rather than on top. I used about 8 command hooks to hang the garland.

Mantle Top
On the top of the mantel, I placed glass Christmas trees and brass reindeer on either end. A white beaded garland and some frosted pinecone ornaments were laid out across the top.

On the Samsung Frame TV is a piece of art from the Minted Collection that ties in with the gold and white color scheme. It’s actually hard to photograph due to the backlight so the art doesn’t show up well in some of the photos.

The Stockings
Hanging from command hooks tucked behind the garland are the stockings. The bright white stockings are quilted and trimmed with gold. There are cute white tassels hanging from each one.

Other Christmas Decor Around the Living Room
The Coffee Table Decor
I kept the decor on the coffee table simple so it wouldn’t detract from the mantle. Filling a large gold bowl with white and gold ornaments added to the bright white and gold theme I was going for in the living room. A few flocked pine vase filler stems tied in the garland on the mantle. I love the clean uncluttered look.

Cozy Blankets and Pillows
To cozy up the living room for winter, I used a few fur and knit throw blankets tossed on the sofa and chairs. I also added a few Holiday themed pillows on the sofa and chairs. The gold and white velvet Falalala pillows are so cute! They look so good on the blue velvet chairs. I also added a pair of white tassel pillows with a white Christmas Tree embroidered on them and layered them in front of my favorite gray antelope print pillows. I can’t afford to add all new pillows for every season, so a few inexpensive seasonal ones do the trick.

The Bookshelf Decor
My bookshelves flanking the fireplace are one of my favorite things to decorate. For Christmas I added a lot of decor I already owned. I like to keep the shelves fairly minimal so they don’t compete with the mantle decor.
