I’m so excited to share my Christmas decor room by room with you all. Today, I’m sharing how I decked out our dining room and entryway for Christmas!
It’s hard to believe that Christmas is three short weeks away! I’ve been decorating since Nov. 1 and still have things I’d like to do. Christmastime is my favorite time of the year and I love to make it as magical as possible.

The Entryway
The addition of this pencil tree inside of this beautiful tree urn really dresses up the entryway for the season. I usually have a coat rack here but I’m thinking I may have to put something green here all year long.
This is the perfect tree for a small and narrow space. The tree urn is new this year and makes a beautiful statement when entering our home.
Across from the tree, is a small narrow entryway table. It took me a long time to find a table to fit this small wall and I love this one. I decorated it with some pretty glass trees and a ginger jar filled with white snowy stems.
The Dining Room
The entryway is open to the dining room which is immediately to the right when you walk in the front door. I wanted to create a White Winter Wonderland in the dining room this year. I used as much of my old decor in silver and white as possible to decorate the room.
The Christmas Tree
The Christmas Tree I used this year is new from King of Christmas. It is a 7-foot Prince Flock pre-lit tree with 400 LED lights and I absolutely love it. It is such great quality! I was so honored for the opportunity to partner with King of Christmas on this tree. King of Christmas was so kind to offer you a 10% off coupon code on your own King of Christmas tree (or anything on their site).
Use the code SHANNONGOLDDESIGN FOR 10% off.
I placed this tree in a Christmas Tree Urn as well. Can you tell I’m obsessed? The urn adds another foot in height and is great if you need a taller tree but don’t want to purchase new one!
I used all the same ornaments and ribbon on this tree as I did on last year’s dining room tree. The only new items were a few extra tree picks to create a topper. I used the amaranthus stems that were the topper last year all throughout the tree to create more interest on the tree. Instead of weaving the fur ribbon throughout the tree, this year I created a corkscrew effect with the ribbon and draped it all around the tree. Silver poinsettias and mercury glass ornaments were the finishing touches to this beautiful winter wonderland tree.
The Tablescape
I love creating a beautiful centerpiece on the dining room table. This year I decided to use all of my mercury glass trees, silver reindeer, and a white Christmas village house to create a wintery scene down the table. The entire scene is set atop a cozy fur table runner. The centerpiece bowl I used is a vintage style bowl that I also used in my fall tablescape. I filled the bowl with a beautiful flocked pine arrangement and tucked some ornaments into it.
The Bar Cart
The beautiful silver bar cart is a new addition and finishing touch to this room. I placed all of our Pottery Barn Christmas dishes that I’ve collected over the years on the cart awaiting our Christmas dinner. The silver leopard print wine glasses are a pretty touch and we love Stag’s Leap Cabernet with our Christmas dinner each year.
That wraps up our entryway and dining room Christmas tour today. What do you think of the White Winter Wonderland theme? I’ll be sharing the living room and kitchen in another post.
