Hey y’all! Welcome to my Fall Home Tour 2019. Come on in! It may be hot as all get out in Texas, but that hasn’t stopped me from decorating for fall. You may have seen on Instagram that I began putting ideas together for my fall decor back in August. That may seem early, but I couldn’t wait to get into the fall spirit!
Fall decorating is not only about the pumpkins, it is also about the colors. So this year, I decided on a non-traditional color palette for fall. I chose BLUSH + BLUE + BURGUNDY with GOLD accents and pops of LEOPARD.

DINING ROOM
The first stop on my Fall 2019 Home Tour is the Dining Room. This is one of my favorite spaces to decorate. Unfortunately, we don’t use this room often, mainly just holidays and dinner parties. It’s the first room you see, so I like to keep the table dressed and the decor fresh!
Seasonal changes are my favorite! While the chandelier is definitely the focal point in the room, I love creating beautiful centerpieces for the table. This year, I was inspired by this vintage pedestal bowl. I decided to fill it with luxe navy velvet pumpkins. I also added a few faux florals in blush, blue and burgundy. These same hues were used for the velvet pumpkins that cascade down the center of the table. I also added an unexpected pop of leopard print.
I love mixing antique/vintage pieces with more modern elements in my tablescapes. The table settings feature vintage napkins I scored at an estate sale paired with square-shaped leopard print napkin rings. The scalloped navy blue salad plates with pretty lace-like details tie in with the vintage vibe of the centerpiece bowl. The antique pewter chargers and the platinum rimmed classic white dinner plates add a touch of elegance. My great-grandmother’s vintage silverware are the perfect addition to this vintage-modern fall tablescape. The chic silver leopard print wine glasses are my favorite new addition to my stemware collection.
LIVING ROOM
Next on the Fall 2019 Home Tour, let’s head over to the living room! We never had a fireplace or a mantle before moving into this house. I am embracing it and taking full advantage of decorating it for every season. When I style my mantle for a new season, I like to start with the art. I love gathering seasonal inspiration by first finding art on the above the fireplace.
As I was flipping through the art selection, I kept coming back to the piece called ‘Melody in White’. I was drawn to the blends of creams, golds and whites. This piece by Teodora Guererra is part of the Minted Collection available in the Samsung Gallery. However, if you don’t have a an Art TV, you can still get this exact piece of art from Minted.com. This art inspired the entire look of the fall decor in my living room! The decor consists of gold eucalyptus stems, white and gold pumpkins, and of course pops of my signature blue.
I have been collecting mercury glass pumpkins for a few years now. I couldn’t help but incorporate them into my fall decor this year. The mercury glass pumpkins found a home on the hearth as well as the mantle. My mercury glass candlesticks travel from room to room quite often. This time they found a place on the mantle flanking the TV.
The console table in the living room got a few updates recently. I added gorgeous white and gold lamps and a few pieces from my ginger jar collection. The addition of a white and gold planter filled with hydrangeas and topped with white baby pumpkins filled out the center of the console. I added a few white pumpkins from my stash, and some new blue and white floral pumpkins that I found at Homegoods as well.
BREAKFAST NOOK
Let’s continue the Fall 2019 Home Tour just beyond the living room. The Kitchen Island and Breakfast Nook Bench Seat are painted Benjamin Moore Hale Navy, a color that inspires much of my everyday decor. To bring in Fall elements to each of these spaces I added faux florals in my fall color palette.
In the breakfast nook, I placed them in a white ginger jar in the center of the table. The woven hyacinth placemats and blue and white striped table runner have been on constant rotation for nearly every tablescape I do. These pieces are not only classics that work all year long, but they are perfect for the more casual vibe I seek for this space.
In addition to the new navy blue hemstitch cloth napkins, I added these adorable pumpkin bowls to complete this casual fall tablescape. The brown stems of the bowls got the Rub n’ Buff treatment in an Antique Gold color. This is such an easy way to add a little bling to your decor. These bowls have been a big hit for our family dinners so far this season. I have an annual tradition where I make a Pumpkin Chili on Halloween Night for the kids and their friends before Trick-or-Treating and these pumpkin bowls are the perfect way to serve it up.
I’m also a big fan of cozying up this space! The knit throw and mum pillows are the perfect addition, as are the white tassel pillows on the bench seat.
KITCHEN
Let’s take a peek in the kitchen! For this fall 2019 home tour, I added a few ceramic pumpkins here and there in different vignettes on the countertops and kitchen shelves.
I love adding seasonal wreaths to my vent hood for each holiday, however this time I placed a gorgeous pumpkin vine metal wreath directly on the backsplash behind my cooktop instead. A large pumpkin serving bowl sits in the center of the stove on top of a pretty marble and gold serving tray. I placed some pretty gold candlesticks behind the range as well.
Another white ginger jar with pretty faux hydrangeas and mums in my fall color palette sits in a tray on the kitchen island along with a blue and white ginger jar and a pretty pierced pumpkin.
In the coffee corner, I added a pumpkin sugar bowl and a large white ceramic pumpkin which go well with the ginger jars that hold our coffee pods and tea.
ENTRYWAY
The last stop on the Fall 2019 Home Tour for today is the entryway. The entryway is quite large, but there is not a lot of wall space to decorate. It is open to the office and dining room on either side, so there is only one tiny sliver of wall that can accommodate a small console table. I simply added a few velvet pumpkins along with a glass pumpkin to the center of the console table between two ginger jars. A marble pumpkin I’ve had for years found a spot in the entryway as well.
Thank you for joining me on my 2019 Fall Home Tour today! I hope you enjoyed it! I’ll be showing you the outside fall decor in my next post! Stay tuned!
