Interior Paint Colors
“What paint color did you use?” That is the main question I am asked almost daily. On this page you will find all of the interior paint colors that I’ve used in my home along with photos of how the color looks in each room.
All of the paint colors in our home are by Benjamin Moore. All of the walls are painted using the Benjamin Moore Regal Select line in the eggshell finish. The ceilings are in a matte finish. Our cabinets and trim are all a semi-gloss finish.
I chose a neutral palette to create light and airy spaces throughout my home. The paint colors I chose coordinate well and flow from room to room.
Paint Colors in my Home
I like keeping one consistent and neutral color throughout all of the main living areas so it is easy to add pops of seasonal color with accessories all year long. Therefore, the main living spaces are all painted Benjamin Moore Horizon (OC-53). The ceiling and trim in these spaces and most of my home is painted Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace (OC-65).
The Front Door
Our front door was a dark brown stain when we moved in and stayed that color until we painted it in the summer of 2020. The new color I chose for the front door is Benjamin Moore Cheating Heart (1617).
Here is the door color before:
And here it is after painting it Cheating Heart which is a nice dark gray color.
You will find all of my front porch decorating ideas and seasonal tours here.
Entryway
Like most of the main areas of our home, the entryway is painted Benjamin Moore Horizon (OC-53) and the ceiling and trim are painted Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace (OC-65).
You can see the barely there contrast between the very light gray Horizon paint color and the crisp white Chantilly Lace on the trim and door.
The inside of the front door was originally painted a dark brown color. When we painted the outside of the door, we also painted the inside. The color we chose for the inside is Benjamin Moore Coventry Gray (HC-169).
In the photos below you can see the front door and trim when it was brown. And then the updated paint color, Coventry Gray.
You can see the many ways I’ve styled my entryway for the seasons and holidays here.
Dining Room
Walls: Benjamin Moore Horizon (OC-53); Ceiling and Trim: Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace (OC-65)
The dining room is to the right of the entryway and is the first room you see upon entering the house. Since the two spaces are connected I used the same wall color in the dining room as the entryway.
