Hi friends! Today I am sharing my new Outdoor Patio Makeover with you. I am so excited to partner with Safavieh once again. This time, I decided to give our outdoor patio a makeover using outdoor furnishings by Safavieh.

My Vision

I am excited to see my vision for my Patio become a reality through this collaboration with Safavieh. I moved our original patio sofas and chairs to a new space we installed in the backyard so my patio became a clean slate.

This is the concept board I created when planning the space. I start every project with a design concept before committing to any purchases. This helps me see how each color and piece will work together in the space.

OUTDOOR SECTIONAL SET

Safavieh has an extensive collection of outdoor furniture and accessories including chairs, stools, benches, coffee tables, rugs, throw pillows, sofas and sectionals.

For the sofa, I knew I wanted a comfy sectional with a modern coastal vibe, so I chose Safavieh’s Analon Outdoor Sectional. The Analon Outdoor Sectional has a striking blend of retro chic style and modern coastal relaxation. I love the beige wicker frame and the Mid-Century style legs. The set includes two benches and a corner piece with plush white cushions and a coffee table. It also includes two white bolster pillows and two navy and white striped toss pillows.

OUTDOOR AREA RUG

Rugs make such a huge difference in a space. Safavieh has a large selection of beautiful outdoor rugs. For this makeover, I chose an ivory and gray checkered indoor/outdoor area rug from Safavieh’s Bermuda Collection. The rug is 8×10 but comes in other sizes as well. It is weather-resistant, stain-resistant, and resistant to mold, mildew and fading from the sun. I was very impressed with the quality as well.

CONCRETE SIDE TABLE

For the side table, I chose Safavieh’s Deidara Concrete Accent Stool. It is the perfect piece for a modern coastal look. I love the bright white color, the etched bands, and the rectangular profile.

THROW BLANKET

I like to add throw blankets on my patio for chilly nights by the fire. The coastal cool colors of the Brenton Fringe Throw Blanket by Safavieh were perfect for the patio design. The tonal blues against the delicate white hues play perfectly with the subtle striped pattern. The long braided fringe adds a bit of charm. I love how it looks draped on the sofa when not being used.

THROW PILLOWS

The addition of throw pillows on a sofa brings a cozy feel to the space. Safavieh’s Nichole Pillow was the perfect choice for a statement pillow with its bohemian design and bright navy and beige hues. I added one on the corner piece of the sectional and one on a side chair.

I also chose the Grema Pillow in solid navy blue to accent the sectional. This pillow is beautifully bohemian yet playfully posh. It features whimsical rows of braided fringe, creating lavish textures. The pillow is a lumbar and is the perfect size for the two sectional benches.
