The temps are finally cooling down in Dallas y’all! I’m so excited to be able to sit outside again. This is our 2nd October in Texas and in our home. The one thing I’ve learned about North Texas is that the weather is completely bipolar! It could be freezing one minute and boiling the next. You really just never know.
The Front Porch
The first outdoor space I want to share is our Front Porch. The front porch is the first space guests see when they come to our home, so I like to add a few festive seasonal touches each season.
I usually switch out the wreaths on the front door each season or holiday. This year I decided to use my magnolia leaf wreaths and I layered a gorgeous gold leaves wreath on top of them. I used floral wire to keep the wreaths together. The addition of burlap ribbon tied in a bow completes the look.
I also like to add a festive doormat layered on top of a neutral rug. This Gather Doormat is my favorite for this season.

I love the white garden urns flanking our front door. To give them a fall updated, I placed seasonal mums in a deep burgundy color inside of them. I also added some real and faux pumpkins to the porch. The textured knobby pumpkin and the blue cinderella pumpkin are from Whole Foods. The white pumpkins are faux velvet.
The white lanterns are my favorite outdoor decor essential. They are perfect for every season. I use LED candles inside of them so they don’t melt while outside.

The Back Patio
Let’s head to the back patio! The back patio is my favorite place to sit and enjoy a gorgeous fall day or evening. This space is right outside our living room and I like to make it an extension of the indoors. I added the white washed wood patio furniture last spring and love how the set pairs with the bricks on the house. We enjoy sitting out here with our morning coffee or wrapping up the evening with a glass of wine.

Just like the mantle inside, I like to decorate our outdoor mantle for the season. I added some white pumpkins, artificial beach grass in white vases and gold pillar candle holders all in neutral tones. I filled the lanterns on the hearth with faux pumpkins and added a woven basket of firewood for those chilly fall evenings.

Besides the couches and chairs, I love the round pedestal coffee table we added to this space. It was such a reasonable price for the quality and it resembles real stone. I love how it compliments the stone mantle.
On the coffee table, I created a fall vignette using a gorgeous brass vase filled with faux pampas grass stems, an artificial goldenrod arrangement, and a gorgeous embroidered blush velvet pumpkin.

Another favorite item on my patio are our gorgeous white garden stools. These make great side tables or can even double as extra seating should we need it. I added a few mums and pumpkins beside the garden stools.

Throw blankets and pillows are an easy way to breath new life into a space, both indoors and out! I love the striped lumbar pillow I added to the couch and the burgundy embroidered pillow I added to the chairs. The blush tassel blanket is perfect for those chilly fall nights.

Outdoor Dining Space
Our outdoor dining space received a fall update as well. On the outdoor dining table, I created a simple tablescape with faux pumpkins and real mums as a centerpiece. It’s fun to entertain outdoors and this space is perfect for an evening with friends. I just adore the blue and white striped bistro chairs we added last spring.

Thank you so much for touring along with me today! I hope you enjoyed seeing my Porch and Patio for my Outdoor Spaces Fall Tour.
